This August the DFW Mizzou Tigers welcomed over 120 area students and their parents into the Mizzou Family at our annual Student Send Off. We’re so excited to see the growth in the number of area students heading off to Columbia each year. The support from our local alumni has been outstanding and allowed the DFW Mizzou Tigers to award $8,500 in scholarships this year.
Over 120 students from the Dallas-Fort Worth area will be enrolling at Mizzou this fall.
2014 DFW Mizzou Tigers Scholarship Recipients:
- Kendra Kieser, Plano Senior HS, Mizzou Alumni Association Capstone Scholarhip – $4,000
- Jennifer Connelly, Lovejoy HS, Allen, TX, Jim “Tiger Ellis and Van Ellis Memorial Dallas/Ft Worth Chapter of Mizzou Alumni Association Endowment Fund Scholarship – $1,500
- Justin Weisgarber, Southlake Carroll Senior HS, Local Chapter – Pinkel 102 Award- $1,500
- Jordan Martin, Colleyville Heritage HS, Local Chapter – Founder’s Day Ann Raymond Scholarship – $1,500
