Did you know 1 in 4 children in North Texas go hungry everyday? The North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) is a top-ranked nonprofit relief organization, and the largest North Texas charity. Each day, the North Texas Food Bank provides access to 170,000 meals for hungry children, seniors and families through a network of more than 1,000 programs and 262 Partner Agencies.
As much as the DFW Mizzou Tigers love our great University, we also love giving back to our community. Our chapter will be donating our time on Saturday, April 25th at the NTFB Distribution Center sorting, boxing and/or bagging food for families across North Texas.
This is a family friendly event and we encourage you to bring along your future Tigers, however due to safety guidelines, all volunteers must be 10 years of age or older. Any volunteer between the ages of 10 and 15 must be accompanied by adult chaperones (1 chaperone for every 7 youth).
If you’re interested in donating your time to the North Texas Food Bank please email DFWMizzouTigers@gmail.com with your contact information and the names and contact information of any additional volunteers who will be joining you by Friday, April 17th.

Need a break from the family or want to celebrate a great Mizzou Football season with them? Bring them to one of our locations to watch the Tigers take down their cross conference rival, the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Don’t forget to bring a new, unwrapped toy or cash donation for our Annual Toy Drive.

The DFW Mizzou Tigers are always looking for ways we can give back to the community and this year we’ve partnered with the City of Dallas’ Forester and Tree Planting Team at Kiest Park. Volunteers will assist the Committee, the public and its partner organizations in planting trees. About 200 volunteers are expected from various civic and community groups. Bring the family! Every person can make a difference!
Meet at the park entrance on South Hampton Road. You will see lots of trees, big holes, signs and tents. There will be port-o-lets. Please bring your own water. Afterward, we’ll go out to location TBA to get something to eat and catch some afternoon games.
